PCA to host Vis Pre-Moots in Buenos Aires (5-6 March 2026) Singapore (5-6 March 2026), and The Hague (19-20 March 2026)
The Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) has the pleasure to announce that it will host three Vis Pre-Moots to prepare students for the 2026 edition of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and the Vis East Moot: the 19th edition of its traditional Pre-Moot in The Hague, the 7th edition of its Buenos Aires Pre-Moot and, for the fifth time, a Singapore edition. The PCA is pleased to be able to organize these events across the globe once again, contributing to the long history of close cooperation between the Vis Moot and the PCA.
The PCA Buenos Aires Vis Pre-Moot will be held on 5-6 March 2026, the PCA Singapore Vis Pre-Moot on 5-6 March 2026, and, finally, the PCA Hague Vis Pre-Moot on 19-20 March 2026. All these events will take place in person. The fifth PCA Singapore Vis Pre-Moot will be organised with the support of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre, whose arbitration rules are used in the 2026 Vis Moot.

At each event, teams will have the opportunity to plead both as Claimant and Respondent. Highly qualified international arbitration specialists from a variety of jurisdictions, including officials from the PCA’s International Bureau, will serve as arbitrators and provide feedback to the teams. All teams will be scored and ranked and each team will separately receive the scores of its individual oralists, and the top teams will be announced. Over the years, over 70 different universities from more than 40 countries across the globe have participated in the PCA Vis Pre-Moots.
Teams that would like to participate in the Buenos Aires, Singapore, or Hague PCA Vis Pre-Moots in 2026 are invited to complete the form at 2026 PCA Vis Pre-Moots: Team Registration – Fill out form by no later than Sunday, 4 January 2026. Limited spaces are available. Teams will be informed, if possible, by Friday, 9 January 2026 whether they have been selected for participation in either the Buenos Aires, Singapore, or Hague PCA Vis Pre-Moots. There is no registration fee
