The PCA contributes to UN Regional Course in International Law for Africa

On April 16, 2014 Mr. Brooks W. Daly, Deputy Secretary-General of the PCA, held a six hour course on the Peaceful Settlement of International Disputes in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The lectures formed part of the United Nations Regional Course in International Law for Africa held at the same location from April 7 to May 2, 2014.

Thirty-one participants from seventeen countries throughout the continent attended the lectures on the Peaceful Settlement of International Disputes. The United Nations Regional Course in International Law for Africa is organized by the Codification Division of the United Nations Office of Legal Affairs. The objective of the Course is to give qualified professionals, such as teachers of international law and government officials from developing countries, an opportunity to enhance their knowledge with regard to international law, as well as the legal work of the United Nations and of the bodies associated to it.
