PCA to host Vis Pre-Moots in Buenos Aires (27-28 February 2025) Singapore (19-20 March 2025), and The Hague (3-4 April 2025)

The Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) has the pleasure to announce that it will host three Vis Pre-Moots to prepare students for the 2025 edition of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and the Vis East Moot: the 18^th edition of its traditional Pre-Moot in The Hague, the 6^th edition of its Buenos Aires Pre-Moot and, for the fourth time, a Singapore edition. The PCA is pleased to be able to organize these events across the globe once again, contributing to the long history of close cooperation between the Vis Moot and the PCA.

The PCA Buenos Aires Vis Pre-Moot will be held on 27-28 February 2025, the PCA Singapore Vis Pre-Moot on 19-20 March 2025, and, finally, the PCA Hague Vis Pre-Moot on 3-4 April 2025. All these events will take place in person.

At each event, teams will have the opportunity to plead both as Claimant and Respondent. Highly qualified international arbitration specialists from a variety of jurisdictions, including officials from the PCA’s International Bureau, will serve as arbitrators and provide feedback to the teams. All teams will be scored and ranked and each team will separately receive the scores of its individual oralists, and the top teams will be announced. Over the years, over 70 different universities from more than 40 countries across the globe have participated in the PCA Vis Pre-Moots.

Teams that would like to participate in the Buenos Aires, Singapore, or Hague PCA Vis Pre-Moots in 2025 are invited to complete the form at https://forms.office.com/r/ttYB7b2g12 by no later than Friday, 3 January 2025. Limited spaces are available. Teams will be informed, if possible, by Friday, 10 January 2025 whether they have been selected for participation in either the Buenos Aires, Singapore, or Hague PCA Vis Pre-Moots. There is no registration fee.
