The Permanent Court of Arbitration is pleased to announce the publication of its 2020 Annual Report.

The Annual Report illustrates the PCA’s continued growth throughout 2020 and describes the key activities undertaken by the PCA and its staff during the 2020 calendar year.

In the course of 2020, the PCA’s International Bureau provided registry services in 211 cases, a record 59 of which were initiated that year.

Additionally, the PCA Secretary-General received 42 requests relating to the appointing authority mechanism under the Arbitration Rules of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).
