The Republic of Mauritius v. The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

The Arbitral Tribunal constituted in the arbitration between the Republic of Mauritius and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland pursuant to Article 287 and Annex VII of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (the “Convention”) conducted a hearing from 22 April to 9 May 2014 on the Tribunal’s jurisdiction to consider the claims brought by Mauritius and on the merits of those claims.
