PCA India Conference
The Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA), together with the Ministry of External Affairs of the Government of India, organized a conference in New Delhi on 7 October 2017. The conference comprised three panels on the following subjects: interstate arbitration; investor-state arbitration; and contract-based claims. The speakers at the conference included representatives of the Indian judiciary and government, practitioners of international dispute resolution in India and abroad, and members of the International Bureau of the PCA.
The PCA India conference was followed by a workshop in New Delhi on 8 October 2017, also jointly organized by the PCA and the Ministry of External Affairs. The workshop included lectures by a distinguished faculty on international investment agreements and the procedures and institutions engaged in investor-state dispute settlement.
